The development of XH403 long-distance water carrying system for forest fire prevention was based on the richness of water source in the forest areas of Guangdong Province, which is advantageous for forest fire fighting. Through selecting and shaping of the water carrying system, we have improved the water pump, power set, water tube and water gun. This made the water carrying height of single pump reach 250m or more, water carrying distance 1000m or more, and current capacity 2.8m3/h, and thus achieved the purpose of long-distance and high-lift water carrying. The paper illuminated the development, main technical feature, structure, and use effect of this system.
